What’s a beach party without volleyball? That’s right… On the River 2009 will feature a full-on 6 on 6 sand volleyball tournament on the river in downtown SB in the middle of the summer – it doesn’t really get much better than that. Register now to play in this unique tournament!

Entry fee is $180 per team – all players receive a free t-shirt and free admission to the party.

1st PRIZE: Gold medal (one for each player) + 6 tickets for the 11/21 Notre Dame vs. Connecticut game with parking pass for tailgate and food package provided by Between the Buns

2nd PRIZE: Silver medal (one for each player) + Dinner for 6

3rd PRIZE: Bronze medal (one for each player) + TBD

Tourney Rules

On the River 2009 will feature a 16-team, 6 on 6 co-ed seating-elimination beach volleyball tournament.
Tournament play will begin promptly at 3:00PM on Saturday, August 15th. First 4 teams will need to be checked in and present by 3:00PM.
Rest assured that all “regular” volleyball rules will apply, we’re not going to play with a square ball and the nets will not be made of cheese.
