THE OTR 2013 VOLLEYBALL TOURNEY
What’s a beach party without volleyball? That’s right… On the River 2013 will feature both a 4-on-4 co-ed and a 6-on-6 co-ed sand volleyball tournament during the 21+ Beach Bash on the river in downtown South Bend in the middle of the summer – it doesn’t really get much better than that.
PS – Teen Night & Family Day will not feature a tournament…but we’ll have free, open play.

How it Works
There are two brackets, a Recreational level 6-on-6 and a Competitive level 4-on-4. We can only accomodate 16 teams, each bracket having 8 teams. The tournament will be double elimination, with the competitive bracket competing first followed by the recreational bracket. Each team is guaranteed at least 2 games and also a chance at some awesome prizes!

- Brewery tour for 10 people at Four Horsemen
- Dinner under the Palais Royale chandelier for 6 people
Competitive
- 4 tickets to University of Notre Dame vs. Wake Forest football game
- Dinner with Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Councilman Gavin Ferlic for 8 people
Tourney Rules
- On the River 2013 will feature both an 8-team, 6-on-6 co-ed Recreational level and an 8-team, 4-on-4 co-ed Competitive level double-elimination beach volleyball tournament.
- Recreational level tournament play will begin promptly at 3:00PM on Saturday, August 3. First 4 teams will need to be checked in and present by 3:00PM. Competitive level tournament play will then begin at 6:00PM.
- Each game will be called after 30 minutes.
- There must be at least one male and one female on every team.
